The Beard is Back: Dangerous Man Brewing is Returning to Northeast Minneapolis
Dangerous Man Brewing is officially coming home. After three years of focusing on distribution we are thrilled to announce we are returning to our Northeast Minneapolis roots with a brand-new taproom!
When Dangerous Man closed its original taproom doors in 2023, it left a pint-sized hole in the heart of Minneapolis. Since then, we’ve been busy getting cans onto shelves while waiting for the right moment to bring the community back together under one roof. That moment is here.
Starting this spring, Dangerous Man will take over the brewery and taproom at 861 E Hennepin Ave, currently home to our friends at HeadFlyer Brewing. This move represents a friendly passing of the torch from HeadFlyer to Dangerous Man, and we couldn’t ask for better partners. And HeadFlyer isn’t disappearing entirely–they plan to continue as a distribution brewery, and we look forward to future collaborations.
This isn’t an expansion; it’s a homecoming. While we’ve loved seeing cans in your fridges, we’ve missed seeing your faces at the bar. Dangerous Man will be moving this April, after doing a quick “DM-style” refresh, and opening the doors to the public later this spring. Expect your favorite flagships, experimental small-batch beers brewed on-site, and that same community-first spirit that started it all.
